Michigan DT back at practice after hospitalization

Three days after sustaining a neck injury that sent him to the hospital, Michigan defensive tackle Ondre Pipkins was back at practice on Monday, a spokesperson confirmed to multiple outlets.

Whether Pipkins was limited or not wasn’t immediately known.

Pipkins had to be hospitalized for precautionary reasons and evaluation after injuring his neck during drills on Friday. However, coach Brady Hoke later said Pipkins had movement in all his extremities and the freshman was released from the hospital later that day.

Pipkins should be in the rotation for playing time this fall behind senior Will Campbell.
