OSU WR Devin Smith makes ridiculous catch against Miami (OH)

The first quarter of the Urban Meyer era in Columbus was a bit anticlimactic. In fact, Miami (OH) led Ohio State 3-0 heading into the second.

That all changed in a dramatic yet completely awesome way when Braxton Miller tossed what looked like an overthrown ball to receiver Devin Smith in the corner of the end zone. Smith reached up with one hand and grabbed the ball while maintaining control of his rotating body and kept it together all the way through the catch.

Early candidate for catch of the year? Yais!!!!

Ohio State looks like it’s starting to turn it on here, up 14-3 on the Redhawks.
