Georgia’s off-the-field issues and player suspensions were a major storyline this offseason. Now that football Saturday is here, we’ll at least be able to see the effects of those problems.
It looks like we already have our first signs of suspensions being carried out. Per multiple UGA outlets, Bulldogs safety Bacarri Rambo and linebacker Alec Ogletree are both in street clothes with kickoff against Buffalo just an hour or so away. Barring a sudden change in events, both look like they’re going to sit this one out.
Rambo and Ogletree were already reportedly facing suspension of four games and two games, respectively, for separate off-the-field problems.
The absences shouldn’t be a problem, though. The spread on the game is at -37 in favor of Georgia.
