APAny buyer’s remorse on the part of ACC quite yet, ya think?
In the first game of the Paul Chryst era, the Big East’s Pittsburgh, which a year from now will officially be a part of the ACC, lost 31-17 to the Missouri Valley Conference’s Youngstown State. At home. And, yes, the Penguins are an FCS-football program that won just six games at that level.
Here’s new CFT correspondent Max Cady with an exclusive on-site video take of the stunning development:
Wow hard times for the state of pennsylvania. First penn st with the sandusky, paterno Crap. Now pitt cant beat an FCS team. Lol
Give Pitt the death penalty! They won’t win 3 games this year!
USF fan here:
Didn’t we warn you not to let the door hit you on the way out?
When u live in PA you always say no matter what happens, it could always be worse, we could live in Cleveland. No college or pro football team! Get it? Hahaha, now that’s an LOL!!
Oooh, JT … that headline was cold.
I may make an exception to my rule of only watching games on ESPiN in the off chance Mark May could be on camera when this game is discussed.
YSU now has 20 victories over FBS schools. The most by any FCS program.
Love the headline.
Stevie Pedersen is probably spitting mad. He is probably raining down anger on his staff. He is probably gushing with things to say.
…..the joke is he spits when he talks. Plus he’s a crappy Athletic director.
Is this the first time an Ohio team has won at Heinz Field?
Pitt is a joke.
Bet old man Lou is taking it to crybaby May as we speak!
If you combine Pitt and Penn State, you can field a team that might win four games
Ha ha, what a bunch of fuk’n idiots. You know, I’m pretty sure the preseason poll is exactly the same at the end of the year too. What a bunch of first rate punks.
LOL!!! Pitt can still eat s**t.
Tough times lie ahead, when you have a defense that doesn’t hit, a line that can’t block, and a quarterback that can’t throw !
Oh man, lol. Who would win between Pitt & Maryland? Would be an epic pillow fight for the ages!
I live in PA, and I have all my life. Aside from my local high school, there isn’t a football team in PA I give a salt about. Especially the Pittsburgh teams, they drive me nuts. I hope the both do awful this year.
Meanwhile, a short while away in Morgantown, things are looking great for the ‘eers
Most people in Pittsburgh could care less about college football. It’s all about the Steelers and the NFL… all the time.
WVU will own the city of Pittsburgh and western PA in due time. They are exciting as hell, reside in a very competitive football conference and already receive significantly more coverage from the PPG and Trib than they did in the early to mid 2000s. Pitt and Penn State are what you would call “losing” programs w/ bleak futures.
Pittsburgh’s teams are Steelers, Buccos, Pens and Mountaineers!
Maybe you should call this the Paul Chyrst Error instead of the Paul Chryst Era
