When Air Force travels to Michigan next Saturday, it’ll be without one of the anchors along the team’s offensive line. Per Frank Schwab of the Colorado Springs Gazette, starting center Michael Husar has sustained two torn ligaments in his left knee and is done for the year.
Husar, a junior who played in eight games last year, suffered the injury in the second quarter of Air Force’s 49-21 win over Idaho State. The Falcons already entered the season down a handful of players that were expected to be major contributors this fall.
