(Yep, that kind of day, and during the season no less. What gives?)
Well, it turns out former Kansas quarterback Brock Berglund has enrolled at North Texas after all, the Denton Record Chronicle reports. Berglund, who has been at Scottsdale Community College, was considering UNT and FIU after being shown the door by Jayhawks coach Charlie Weis at the beginning of the year.
But Berglund encountered an academic issue that kept him from transferring right away. Obviously, that has since been figured out.
NCAA transfer rules mandate that Berglund, a Colorado native, must sit out the 2012 season and could have as many as three years of eligibility remaining.
