Utah needs to do SOMETHING very soon. I know you lost Wynn, but this is a team that has some decent parts to it: solid D, especially on the D-line, a good QB, a good RB and good coaching. Unacceptable to lose that game.

And to Colorado…you’re an utter embarrassment.
Overall, good week for Pac 12 with Arizona St dominating, USC winning, Oregon winning, and Arizona, UCLA, and Oregon State upsetting top 25 teams.

This is tragic. To John,Thank you so much for all you have done. Part of the greatest moments in the last could of years has been your hits. You have been a tremendous leader of action and not words. I love you as a very loyal Duck Fan.
I wish you a speedy recovery and the best in your future. I would post this on Red Neck Duck Club Face Book page but it is being repaired. Check it out because there is some things that you might get a kick of. Especially the cartoons and even more the Mike Ryley cartoon where he is getting branded. Just having fun.

I agree! Utah has a chance to bounce back, but Colorado lost to sac state.

USC fan here. Very sad news. Boyett is a stud. You would think that a guy like me would be happy because it weakens the Oregon defense, but I would never wish for this. Hope he fully recovers ASAP. Fortunately for Oregon, their defense (and overall team) is deadly enough, and deep enough to overcome something like this. Go Pac 12

A special case involves the eligibility of a player who loses the majority of a season to injury. Popularly known as a medical redshirt, a hardship waiver may be granted an athlete who appears in fewer than 30% of his or her team’s competitions (with none coming after the midway point of the season), then suffers a season-ending injury. A player who is granted such a waiver is treated for the purposes of his or her eligibility as though he or she had not competed in that season.

Here’s hoping he gets a medical redshirt despite playing in the season opener (I’m not sure of the rule on medical redshirting obviously), and can come back to his full potential, especially if he’s highly rated enough to play at the next level.
