Following a surprising late-night blowout over then-No. 18 Oklahoma State, 59-38, Arizona is 2-0 and ranked in the latest Associated Press and USA Today top 25.

What’s more is that Wildcats coach Rich Rodriguez has never won a season opener as a first-year coach at the Division 1 level, let alone his first two games as a first-year head coach.

Rodriguez talks to Erik Kuselias on NBC Sports Talk about Saturday’s win and his outlook on the future.

Went to high school in Tucson. Glad to see Rich Rod doing well there. Hope we can catch a game there this season.
