Okla. St. loses starting lineman for the weekend

As Oklahoma State looks to rebound from an embarrassing performance in the desert this past weekend, the Cowboys will have to do so without a starting member of its offensive line.

On Friday’s injury report released via Twitter, starting center Evan Epstein is listed as out for the game against Louisiana-Lafayette -- look out for the Louisiana hyphen schools, right Arkansas? -- in Stillwater Saturday. Epstein (pictured, No. 60) suffered some type of lower leg injury in the 59-38 loss to the Wildcats.

After transferring from Air Force and sitting out the 2009 season, Epstein had played in eight games the past two seasons before entering the 2012 season as the starter.

Sophomore Jake Jenkins will make his first collegiate start in place of Epstein.
