APIf Texas A&M is to bounce back from a loss in its first-ever SEC game, it’ll have to do so without one of its top offensive players.
In an announcement made shortly before kickoff, the Aggies confirmed that running back Christine Michael, along with safety Steve Campbell, have been suspended for today’s game with SMU. Aside from the customary violation of unspecified team rules, no reason for the suspensions were given.
Michael rushed for 33 yards and a touchdown in his first game back since tearing an ACL last November, while Campbell started the season opener after starting five games last season.
Christine? His parents should be suspended for the season!
Kudos to Christine for breaking the gender barrier at RB in college football.
