Wes Lunt out with apparent knee injury

Oklahoma State isn’t necessarily starting off on the right foot against Louisiana-Lafayette. Or, the right knee, as the following case may be.

Cowboys freshman quarterback Wes Lunt has gone down with an apparent left knee injury early in the game, according to multiple reports, after taking a hit on Oklahoma State’s opening offensive drive. Lunt had to be helped off the field and is on crutches.

Early word from Stillwater is that Lunt will be evaluated at halftime, so if nothing else, it looks like backup J.W. Walsh will be filling in for Lunt a little while longer.

Lunt had three completions for 24 yards in his first possession of the game. Oklahoma State currently leads ULL 3-0.
