Nebraska DT returns to team

A week after leaving the team for “personal reasons“, Nebraska defensive tackle Chase Rome has come back to the Huskers.

Bo Pelini announced the return Thursday. “He got through some issues and he’s ready to come back,” Pelini said.

Rome took a leave following the Sept. 8 loss to UCLA, reportedly because he was unhappy with his playing time. “His personal goals – and personal perception of where he should be on this football team – doesn’t match the team goals,” Pelini noted.

Rome had four tackles through two games this season.

Good I’m glad he is back. We need some freaking help on that line. We also need a better cover linebacker. Bring back the peso please. People are cleaning us with that swing pass
