Big Ten Network, DISH reach agreement after all

New Big Ten Logo II

Like a high school couple, the on-again, off-again relationship between the Big Ten Network and DISH Network is back on. For everyone’s patience, we hope it’s for good (and it should be).

“Big Ten Network (BTN) and Dish have reached an agreement that returns BTN to the Dish channel lineup.  We’re pleased that both sides could eventually come together, and we thank fans for their patience,” a statement from the conference read.

As of last week, the two sides were unable to come to an agreement for a long-term partnership despite the fact that one was made in principle two weeks ago.

The Big Ten should be happy that Dish wants to televise their games when you consider the product their putting on the field right now.
