Iowa’s leading RB still out with a concussion

Earlier this week, Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz said he wasn’t optimistic that leading rusher Damon Bullock would be able to play today against Central Michigan. Bullock suffered a concussion against Northern Iowa last week.

As expected, Ferentz said Saturday morning that Bullock is a no-go against the Chips as he continues to recover from his head injury. Freshman Greg Garmon is a maybe with an arm injury. As of now, the depth chart for the Iowa backfield is Mark Weisman and Brad Rogers. Weisman had 113 yards last week in a win over Northern Iowa.

On the season, Bullock has 280 yards and a touchdown.
