Report: Josh Huff ‘almost certain to miss’ Ducks’ game vs. Arizona

When No. 3 Oregon takes the field for its Top 25 matchup with No. 22 Arizona, they’ll likely do so again without one of its top receivers.

Josh Huff suffered what was initially believed to be a minor knee injury in the Week 2 win over Fresno State, then missed the blowout win over Tennessee Tech with the injury.

The Oregonian reported Saturday evening that Huff did not practice at all this week and, as a result, “is almost certain to miss the Ducks’ Pac-12 opener tonight against Arizona.”

Huff has two catches for 22 yards and a touchdown on the season, a year after finishing third in receptions (31) and fourth in receiving yards (430). Eric “Son of Tony” Dungy started in place of Huff last week and has three catches for 30 yards in 2012.
