Pair of reserve Trojans done for the year with injuries

Lane Kiffin AP

The good news (for reporters) is that Lane Kiffin is talking injuries. The bad news (for USC fans) is that Lane Kiffin is talking injuries.

Already thinner than most teams, USC will be without the services of backup middle linebacker Scott Starr (neck) and reserve offensive lineman David Garness (back). Kiffin announced Sunday that both are out for the season.

Starr, a freshman, appeared in three games of the four games the Trojans have played this season, but should be able to get a medical redshirt. Garness, a transfer from the JUCO level, redshirted last season and has yet to see the field in 2012.

From an impact standpoint, neither loss is major, but when you’re dealing with limited scholarship spaces, every injury is magnified a little more.

The entire team is done for the year! As long as you have that worthless, no class coach you will not be winners.

Slay – Speaking of over-rated how about those razorbacks? What the heck does “lastest greatest team ever” supposed to mean? Some sort of stupid hillbilly talk?

I presume timh1955 is also talking about Arkansas. What worthless Arkansas coach are you talking about? The one that’s $25M in depth or the previous one that was in the motorcycle accident?

However I wouldn’t go so far as calling the overrated Razorbacks a bunch of losers.

uscatjerseyshore – I think you know I was talking about Kiffin who is a liar and a terrible coach. He’s been a loser everywhere he has coached. USC is/was overrated and will lose at least three more games.

Kiffin needs to work on his P/R skills and dedicate more time to coaching his team rather than sailing his boat in Newport Beach, CA. on the weekends. (LOL) Also, since he chided Barkley for making bad plays in the Stanford loss 10 days ago, we haven’t heard much from the Bark since then.?. Where is he? What happened to his Heisman ranking?

Timh1955 – Obviously you don’t have a clue as a losing record is one where the losses outnumber the wins. Since Coach Kiffin has a 21-8 record with USC and was able to coach a worthless piece of sh*t SEC team to 7-6 can’t really tell who you might be talking about. In the meantime, speaking of REAL losers, I’m know that anyone who has a burning need to post derogatory comments about a team and a coach would be a definite LOSER.
