I am assured we will get all the tickets we need up to 20 total the moment they go on sale. It is great that you are able to speak with Verge, he sure has done a great job. Even the media here gives him kudos for what he has done and is doing. When you have a bold scheduler in your department, who is tenacious as he was with Oklahoma it can bring great excitement to LSU.

We need to do something special in our tailgating at Cowboy Stadium this time. All the Texas prepare the tri-tips, ribeyes, and bbq. I know you will bring your gumbo pots and jamabalaya cookers, I am thinking about maybe making crawfish pies, or alligator sauce piquant, which I know you made at LSU a few years back. I may/will need your help, doc.

Looking forward to this. I am not sure we have the depth of talent to compete with LSU for four quarters but it will be a good barometer on where we are and how far have yet to go. Hopefully we continue to get better and better recruits. It will be a hell of an opening game!

I will talk with my nephew tonight. Should not be a problem with tickets since we are working on it so soon. Hope to speak with LSU’s AAD tomorrow or as soon as his schedule allows.

Great, almost a home game for the Froggies. But not necessarily a good way to start the season against the tigers.

I am looking forward to going to that game. Now that I know the date, I can plan my work schedule ahead and press toward getting off that entire weekend and maybe Friday as well, make it a long weekend…

….by the way doc will you and the family all come to this game. If ya’ll want to tailgate just let me know and I can drive one truck and pull either the grill or the smoker! I know all the TCU tickets will be taken by the locals in that area, but I think I could use at least 5 tickets if your nephew can get us what you need and what I need, I will pay for yours as well. Let me know. My cell is acting up again. I think I will change companies this time.

This is good news. Any word back from the AAD about scheduling any of the other teams?

LSU’s Senior Associate Athletic Director is doing it again! He scheduled Oregon for the first game in the 2011 season, and Oklahoma in 2017 & 18, kudos to Verge Ausberry! You are the man!

I hope he has a bite from the Michigan end for a series home and home with Michigan to fill the gap left when Notre Dame vacates the series for at least a few years.

Looking forward to the TCU game at Cowboy Stadium. That is always a fun trip, though the last couple miles there is always a challenge.
