Clemson WR expected to miss two games with groin injury

Martavis Bryant, Marcus McMorris AP

A groin injury will sideline Clemson wide receiver Martavis Bryant for about two weeks, Dabo Swinney said in a statement Wednesday.

Bryant sustained the injury while working out before Tuesday’s practice. As a result, he will miss this Saturday’s game at Boston College and next week’s game against Georgia Tech. The sophomore is expected to return next month for the Tigers’ game against Virginia Tech.

Bryant has two receptions for 61 yards this year, both of which have gone for touchdowns. He had nine catches for 221 yards and two touchdowns in 2011.
