Getty ImagesIn fairness, Auburn’s start to the 2012 season would be enough to drive anyone associated with the program to drink.
Regardless, Tigers wide receiver Quan Bray stepped into a bit of tepid legal water Thursday night following a traffic stop.
According to the Birmingham News, Bray was pulled over around midnight ET by a University of West Georgia police officer due to the presence of loud music wafting from the receiver’s vehicle. In addition to that, he was arrested on charges of driving on a limited permit and having an open bottle of alcohol in his vehicle.
The police noted Bray was not drinking.
The News noted that Bray did not practice with his teammates this morning, although that was likely the product of the player not bonding out until 10 a.m. local time.
Bray is currently third on the tigers in receptions (11) and receiving yards (82).
This is a non-issue at Auburn… no games suspended, verbal warning. In the Big Ten… 1 game, first offense… possible team dismissal second offense.
