In addition to being a great quarterback with amazing touch and field savvy, Geno is a humble and articulate young man.

While the Mountaineer defense is suspect and must improve if they want to challenge in the Big 12 and BCS, give Baylor its due. They have a terrific offense and just might be the best offense WVU faces all year.

From my personal observations of seeing Geno in action against my alma mater LSU, I have since that time proclaimed Geno as one of the best throwers/QBs I have seen. Geno can and does throw passes that few other QBs can throw, with a touch which enables his receivers to catch them. Some passes I saw him throw had to be thrown perfectly, and I do not mean near perfect, but perfectly in order for this receiver to catch it and the pass not to be intercepted by the safety or cornerback and yet Geno makes that throw readily.

Lest anyone post snide comments on this forum and this thread about WVU not having much of a defense, that is not Geno's fault, nor can he do anything about that.

Geno deserves this award for the second time this season, but it may not be his last occasion to win this particular award and may well win the most prestigious award of them all, the Heisman.

Best to you Geno, from a LSU Tiger!
