Getty ImagesAbsent for the past two games with what was reported to be a high ankle sprain — incidentally, the past two weeks have brought about the most exciting wins for Miami this season — Hurricanes linebacker Denzel Perryman is back and should be ready to play Notre Dame this Saturday.
Per the Miami Herald, Perryman was listed as the starter on Miami’s most recent depth chart. It’ll be a big boost for the UM defense. Before sustaining the ankle injury, Perryman was second on the team with 16 tackles. He also had one interception.
However, the Canes will be down a pair of offensive lineman when they play the Irish. Offensive tackles Ben Jones out with a foot injury and Jermaine Johnson is currently not with the team for “personal reasons.”
The Fall collapse is just around the corner. Even though unranked, this team stinks and is overrated. Just sit back and watch what upcoming opponents do to this horrible defense. It’s coming.
