Duke’s starting QB questionable against UVA

A quarterback change could be in the offing for Virginia this Saturday against Duke. Coincidentally enough, the same could be said for the Blue Devils.

Duke’s latest depth chart lists starter Sean Renfree as questionable against UVA. Coach David Cutcliffe said Thursday that Renfree will be a game-time decision. Renfree injured his elbow last week in a win against Wake Forest and has been limited in practice.

If Renfree cannot go, Duke would start backup Anthony Boone, who led two touchdown drives against Wake Forest in the fourth quarter. The game had been tied before Boone’s entrance. At 4-1, the Blue Devils are just two wins away from bowl eligibility. However, the final seven games include trips to Virginia Tech, Florida State and Georgia Tech, as well as games against Clemson and Miami.

    Renfree or Boone…DUKE goes to 5 & 1. Looking forward to “bowling”…
