APLast week at this time, we noted that North Carolina State would be down a pair of starting offensive linemen for its game against Miami due to injury.
Unfortunately for the Wolfpack, they’ve hit the line injury trifecta.
Starting right guard Zach Allen, the team confirmed Thursday, suffered a foot injury in the loss to the Hurricanes this past weekend. Not only will Allen miss this weekend’s game against Florida State, but he will miss the remainder of the season as well. And that’s just the injury beginning for the line.
Starting right tackle Andrew Wallace (pictured, No. 64) suffered a foot injury in a win over Citadel last month and missed the loss to The U. It was also confirmed yesterday that Wallace will miss the FSU game as well. But wait, there’s more.
The Pack’s projected starter at left tackle, Rob Crisp, missed the first four games of the season with a back issue. Again as confirmed by the school, it will be a fifth-straight game missed by Crisp due to the lingering back issue.
