According to the Cedar Rapids Gazette, Iowa cornerback Micah Hyde was arrested early Saturday morning on counts of public intoxication and interference with official acts.
Details of the arrest are scarce at this time, but the Gazette reports that Hyde was still in a Johnson County Jail as of 8:30 Saturday morning. However, he was released around 11 a.m. CT.
A senior, Hyde is tied for third on the team with 33 tackles, and has three tackles for loss as well as a forced fumble. Iowa has yet to address the situation and the Hawkeyes are off this week before heading to Michigan State in Week 7.
