APIf you’ve visited CFT enough over the years, you know that this is a site very supportive of our nation’s military. Outside of football Saturdays, there aren’t many things that bring us as much joy as knowing a service man or woman has been reunited with his or her family.
During last Saturday’s game between Georgia and South Carolina, over 80,000 fans were able to witness one of those moments. Thanks to a video camera, countless more will too.
With a hat tip to coachingsearch.com, and in the absence of a Fifth Quarter round-up, we bring you easily the best moment from Week 6 in this college football season: an Army Sgt. being reunited with his family.
You can check out the video below. The audio isn’t the best, but sound isn’t what makes this moment so special. Now, if you’ll excuse me, it’s getting too dusty in this office and I need to finish cutting these onions to help with my allergies.
There should not be 1 single thumbs down for this story.
After watching this, I think someone may be cutting onions near my office at work also.
I am going to have to tell our friend in south Georgia who sent us a box of Vidalia onions they grew that these DO make your eyes water! Whew! That is good stuff! Some powerful onions here!
Our very best to all our American Heroes and our Hero Families!
whew … dang allergies …
I am calling my doctor. He gave me an allergy shot last week which does not work. Fall allergies are acting up bad now.
Nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Those three moved pretty darned quickly, too.
For a minute there the Mrs. Looked like Ace Sanders….
Great video. I haven’t cried like that since the market crashed in ’08.
Wow! Best video of the year, and there is no close second. That is AWESOME! Excuse me while I go watch it again…
Videos like this never get old for me. But I did laugh halfway through the thing when the daughter checked her phone.
God bless the troops. And thanks.
Wow, what a video.
God bless America and our troops!
After clearing my eyes and watching the video again, check out mom trying to slow down the daughter getting to dad! She pulls on her shirt like chasing a speedy receiver
Great, great story
