When Virginia Tech released its injury report Thursday, Dyrell Roberts’ name was nowhere to be found.
A day later, the wide receiver’s availability for tomorrow’s game against Duke is apparently very much up in the air.
By way of the Newport News’ Daily Press’ Norm Wood, offensive coordinator Bryan Stinespring told BeamerBall.com, the official website of Hokies head coach Frank Beamer, that Roberts has been extremely limited in practice this week due to the aftereffects of a concussion. Stinespring said he’s unsure of the receiver’s availability for the Blue Devils game.
Why Roberts wasn’t listed on the injury report is unclear.
Roberts is currently third on the team in receptions (15) and receiving yards (203).
