Pair of Longhorns still doubtful against Oklahoma

Texas will have an opportunity to rebound from last week’s loss to West Virginia by playing rival Oklahoma. However, the Longhorns will likely still without two key starters.

Linebacker Jordan Hicks (hip) and running back Malcolm Brown (ankle) are both listed as doubtful. Brown suffered a sprained ankle a couple of weeks ago and missed his first game of 2012 against the Mountaineers. His absence wasn’t as noticeable as UT was still able to run the ball.

Hicks has been dealing with a hip injury he suffered last month against Ole Miss. Prior to being sidelined, he led the team in tackles with 23 tackles and was tied for second on the team in tackles for loss.
