APAn ankle injury against Indiana two weeks ago is apparently still giving Michigan State tight end Dion Sims problems. Sims, who is still the team’s second-leading receiver despite missing last week’s game against Iowa, is not on the Spartans’ updated two-deep for this Saturday’s game against Michigan.
Mark Dantonio told media today he’ll “know more about it this week.” I would wager a hefty amount that Sims is unavailable against the Wolverines.
Prior to his injury, Sims led the Spartans in receptions (24), receiving yards (313) and touchdown catches (two). He was replaced by backup Paul Lang, who caught his first pass last month against Ohio State.
Probably got a tip about some hot MacBooks and had to leave town for the weekend.
Hate to hear that.
Should be a good game and wish MSU best was playing.
Here’s to ending the streak!
GO BLUE!
Sparty making excuses already. Can’t wait to see it up close and personal!!
As I’ve said here earlier, after losing to these guys four years in a row, let’s keep the trash talking from UM where it belongs… in the trash can. Until we beat these guys again, and I hope it is this year, I’d prefer us to just keep our mouths shut! Just sayin’
I will always always consider little brother, little brother and we will whoop em!! With double the all time wins, they have another 36 wins in a row to catch up!! Bring it Sparty, You’ll hear me on 3rd downs!?
Hang on everyone…the East Lansing (aka Choke City) Fire Dept. has been gearing up all week for this Saturday’s loss against Michigan…the fire dept. knows it will have to deal with the couch burning bonanza that will give them the national attention they so dearly crave.
