Getty ImagesLess than three days before the annual Miami-Florida State rivalry game, just who will be under center for the Hurricanes remains a mystery.
Starting quarterback Stephen Morris suffered an ankle sprain midway through the fourth quarter of the North Carolina loss Saturday. Head coach Al Golden said earlier in the week the program was going into prep for FSU that backup Ryan Williams “is going to be the guy.”
Morris returned to practice Wednesday, although it still appears the backup tack the overriding mindset as Williams again took all of the reps with the first-team offense. As for Morris?
“We’re moving forward with Ryan, and we’ll see if Stephen can in these last 72 hours do something,” Golden said.
Golden added that, when Morris is not at practice, “he’s in a boot” due to swelling in the ankle.
Go Miami.
Miami had “little” chance with Morris.
They have NO chance without him!
This will be a 4 TD plus blowout…….
