Sky blue; water wet; Malcolm Brown and Jordan Hicks out again for Texas

Once again, a pair of key contributors will be sidelined for Texas when Baylor comes to Austin on Saturday.

For the third straight week, running back Malcolm Brown will sit with an ankle injury, and for the fourth straight game, linebacker Jordan Hicks is out with a hip injury. UT made the announcement Friday evening. Also out for the game are fullback Alex de la Torre, defensive back Sheroid Evans and tight end Miles Onyegbule.

Brown was the team’s second-leading rusher before spraining his ankle in a win over Oklahoma State last month. Before his injury against Ole Miss, Hicks led the team in tackles with 23 tackles and was tied for second on the team in tackles for loss.

Quarterback David Ash, who suffered a bruised wrist in last week’s loss to Oklahoma, will play against the Bears.
