wow. didn’t know your allowed to add games after the season starts. maybe they should have won a few that they lost then they wouldn’t need another game to try and become bowl eligible. what a joke

That sounds like a money-losing endeavor to me. I doubt they would earn enough from a bowl game to pay for a trip to Hawaii.

This crap is so weak, the Powers That Be in CFB. Decided that 6 wins was enough to get into a bowl game, because everybody was on a 11 game schedule. Now .500 teams are in bowls year after year. Temple has 11 chances to make it to 6 wins, if they can’t pull it off than they don’t deserve a bowl bid. Besides how hard is it to get to the New Mexico Bowl anyway?

@Ibijake – Yeah, i realize that. I just think its too bad that Temple is in this spot, and that Boise was also in a spot that they couldn’t get a 13th game. Too bad they couldn’t have solved their problems together and fostered a good relationship heading together into the new Big East in 2013

@femlefty- Boise would not work as Temple is not looking for a real game but more of a “probable” win so they can become bowl eligible.

Too bad that Temple didn’t have a common open date with Boise State – Boise was a team that could have (and wanted to) scheduled a 13th game, but couldn’t find a common partner.
