Denard Robinson out with apparent elbow injury against Nebraska

Denard Robinson, Courtney Osborne, P.J. Smith, Ricky Barnum AP

The battle for Big Ten Legends supremacy is on the line tonight, and No. 20 Michigan is going to have to try to beat Nebraska without quarterback Denard Robinson it seems.

Robinson left tonight’s game in the first half with what appears to be an elbow injury. The senior had just 55 yards through the air and 46 yards on the ground. Robinson is standing on the sidelines to begin the second half and it’s not clear if he’s going to return. It doesn’t look likely, however.

Russell Bellomy has come in for Robinson and has yet to complete a pass. Nebraska leads an ugly 10-6 game in the third quarter.

    Go Big Red!

Robinson wasn’t gonna win that game, so at least he can blame Bellomy.

Nice Job by the Nebraska and the Corn D.

Wolverines fans just tasted what happens when one guy is 70% of your offense… bad things happen… should NEVER happen. Also appears Borges has done little-to-nothing to prepare Bellomy for the position… maybe they truly don’t beleive he’s ‘the guy’.

Here’s to building for the future!

    Get well soon DRob…

In Hoke We Trust… Go BLUE!

Only a few more games this year and then no more of this clown. Then hopefully Michigan will get a Real QB.

Still makes no sense that Borges would continue to sit RAWLS and go with weaker and smaller backs. Rawls is a STUD, and Borges himself said, “Rawls has earned the right to get more playing time and he will.” WHEN??????? We could and should have used him in the MSU game and SURE AS HELL should have used him last night! We had NO offense once D went down. WHY NOT AT LEAST TRY RAWLS for a few plays. He has been nothing but impressive when he’s played, and yet there he was… sitting on the bench… AGAIN… last night. Come on, Borges. WAKE UP! Your game plan after D went down SUCKED! PUT RAWLS IN THE GAME, YOU MEATHEAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
