APAnd despite what current economic numbers may indicate this election season, business is at an all-time high for Oregon.
The No. 2 Ducks have jumped out to an early 28-0 35-0 42-0* lead over Colorado… in the second quarter. Kenjon Barner already has over 100 yards rushing and two scores — when will Barner get in the Heisman discussion? — and De’Anthony Thomas isn’t far behind with 97 yards rushing and a punt return for a touchdown.
Marcus Mariota is playing efficiently with eight completions for 121 yards and a score. In all, Oregon is outgaining the Buffs 340-64. Backups could very well be in by the start of the third quarter.
The numbers for Oregon are impressive, but to be expected. Conversely, watching and/or rooting for Colorado football has to be one of the great pains of the 21st century.
(*Yes, Oregon scored twice in the middle of writing this post)
49-0 and more coming. Looking forward to next week.
Sad, but this what the Ducks have to do to impress the polls.
Ralphie the Buffalo has gained 50lbs
on the sideline because of inactivity by CU! Wow! Oregon is a juggernaut!
I like the Ducks, but I don’t think this does anything to impress the voters. Voters are smart enough to know that Colorado is horrible.
It’s a sad state of affairs in Boulder right now. That team isn’t even remotely competitive.
So does the NCAA drop them another spot…no respect at all.
Colorado ……no coaching, no talent
Those kids in the secondary have no idea how to cover
Lets end this and pour more money into the ski team!!
