Oklahoma State starting DT in legal trouble again

Nearly six months after being arrested on a handful of driving-related misdemeanor charges, Oklahoma State defensive tackle Calvin Barnett finds himself in trouble once again -- although it is (again) admittedly a minor run-in.

Per the Daily Oklahoman, Barnett was hit with one misdemeanor count of driving under suspension Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that would be Barnett’s fifth driving-related (and second driving under suspension) charge in the past six months.

Barnett, a JUCO transfer, is already scheduled for a court appearance next month for the four aforementioned charges. Oklahoma State has not addressed the situation yet and other details of the “incident” are scarce.

Barnett has 17 tackles, 3.5 of which went for a loss, as a starter along the Cowboys’ defensive line this season.
