Personally, I think LSU is really good. But, they have two losses now, and there are still at least 4 undefeated teams. LSU dropped to #9 in the AP rankings (I don’t have the other polls), and I don’t think they can climb high enough with three weeks to go to play for the championship. But, who knows? Crazier things have happened.

Last year, LSU and Alabama entered the regular-season game undefeated, as #1 and #2. LSU won in overtime. That gave Bama one loss – to the #1 team in overtime. The only other team that could have gone to the championship game was OK State. But, they lost in overtime to an unranked team (Iowa State) . I think that’s what made the difference.

It’s totally different this year.

The question must be asked…will LSU get a rematch in the BCS championship? Last year, much of the justification in many peoples’ minds for putting Bama in the championship was because they gave the #1 team the hardest challenge all year.

Had another undefeated been left standing, Alabama would not have gotten that title shot. The only reason the Tide made the game is because the other one-loss contenders had fallen to unranked teams or had lost by larger margins.

But to me, Bama/LSU are the most exciting teams in football to watch. If fate gave us another title rematch, I’d be all for it.

Keep cheering the Tide on! They’re going to need it!

Good Luck Bama I am now pulling for you to keep the SEC streak going! But be ready for the Aggie’s as that will be a tougher game than you will expect.

Arkansas fell apart after their qb suffered a blow they did not want to call a concussion in the ‘bama game. Arkansas defense is/was subpar, but that is just ny opinion their offense i believe was why they were ranked so high. Even with hindsight it is tough to say how they would have done without that “concussion” but they were ranked very high. Michigan is about in the same boat with a qb able to scramble and make plays but bama handled that game very well. Arguing that a team in the top ten or so has an easy schedule though is low hanging fruit. Very few teams ranked as high as bama is will run into a team or teams better so it is very tough to get a challenge like lsu provided . Amazing game, again my hat is off to lsu. The Tigers future is bright keep on teaching, learning, and recruiting lsu is going to be a big part of the college inagural postseason in the next few years. If i have angered you i truly apologise and if am wrong on a point please correct me or show me another side, it was nice to meet you barbeaux (so to speak).

I felt like squirmin all thru the game on those penalties and 3 and outs for sure but Zach stayed calm for both of us it seemed. I’ve to admit that I was quite surprised at how the plan was carried thru up till the last second. Gotta hand it to the Mad Hatter, he definitely had “a few” up his sleeve and under his hat. Good thing the season’s bout to come to an end cause I don’t think I could take much more bitin of the fingernails.

I don’t agree that Bama is a lock for the title. This was the Tide’s first big test, and they struggled for much of the game. McCarron did what many great QBs do–he pulled it out in the end. But I’d have preferred to see consistent play throughout the game.
