Picture tells story of Joker’s Kentucky future

Joker Phillips AP

When it comes to whether or not Joker Phillips will return as Kentucky’s head coach for the 2013 season, the talk inevitably turns to the nice guy coach’s track record in Lexington.

Entering today’s game against Vanderbilt, that would be 12-22 overall, 4-18 in SEC play.  In conference play this season, the Wildcats have lost all six by a combined total of 142 points.

The won-loss record on its own certainly portends an unemployment line in Phillips’ future.  Add in a photo?  The future’s further crystallized:

That would be Commonwealth Stadium in Lexington shortly before kickoff against the Commodores.

And that apathy would be the fork stuck in Joker.  He’s done, as is UK today; as of this posting, Vandy is up 27-0 at the half.

UPDATED 4:44 p.m. ET: Vanderbilt finished off its drubbing of Kentucky, heading back to Nashville with a 40-0 whitewashing.

I feel for you UK fans. I am a UT fan and we have not done much (if any) better in the last three years. At least you guys have mens basketball to cheer for. We can kick your butts in womens basketball though (sarcasm intended).

Found 2 lower level mid field seats duct taped to a stop sign….they just can’t give those tickets away. someone should be charged with criminal littering.. fire Joker already.. GO CATS…

  3. taintedlombardis says: Nov 3, 2012 2:57 PM

They should just take some pointers on how to cheat from their basketball program. Isn’t the SEC motto, “if you ain’t cheatin’, you ain’t tryin’?

  4. stairwayto7 says: Nov 3, 2012 2:58 PM

    That is SEC Football!

And exactly which conference would it be that you root far? As far as I know, the SEC is one of the only major conferences to not have AT LEAST one team on some form of bowl probabation in the past few years.

  7. jimbo75025 says: Nov 3, 2012 6:11 PM

Oops, incorrect spelling of probation-need some form of edit function here……

  8. taintedlombardis says: Nov 3, 2012 6:24 PM

    Hey jimbo75025′

Don’t worry. If the NCAA has any integrity they’ll start by stripping Auburn of their NC and then investigate Nick “oversign” Saban and his whole operation.

  9. thefiesty1 says: Nov 3, 2012 6:41 PM

That’s just sad. Looks lie the fans and the team has given up.

  11. houndofthebaskervols says: Nov 3, 2012 6:53 PM

    Dear Tainted,

Hey moron, Auburn passed the scrutiny of an extended NCAA investigation as well as an FBI investigation so STFU.

The SEC limits signing classes to 25 now, so I guess you really dont know what the hell you’re talking about do you?

  12. taintedlombardis says: Nov 3, 2012 6:55 PM

“extended NCAA investigation” that’s why spam was suspended, but then he wasn’t just in time…it’s coming moron.

  13. imaduffer says: Nov 3, 2012 7:00 PM

That highly ranked Misssissippi State didn’t show up today also.

  14. taintedlombardis says: Nov 3, 2012 7:02 PM

SEC looked like trash today. Bama still doesn’t have a quality win.

  15. houndofthebaskervols says: Nov 3, 2012 8:06 PM

Hey taintlicker, Newton was never suspended dumbass. Ancient history, find something else to make yourself look like a fool over.

  16. taintedlombardis says: Nov 3, 2012 8:09 PM

    Hound, you’re an idiot:

  17. taintedlombardis says: Nov 3, 2012 8:09 PM

On November 30, 2010, Auburn declared Cam Newton ineligible to play in the SEC Championship game. But that suspension didn’t last for long. The very next day, on December 1, 2010, the NCAA declared Newton was eligible and his suspension was lifted.

  18. taintedlombardis says: Nov 3, 2012 8:11 PM

Making SEC fans look dumb is like beating a toddler in arm wrestling…I’m not proud.

They aren’t very bright in the South, but they’ll spend lots of money on NCAA football!

  19. houndofthebaskervols says: Nov 3, 2012 8:25 PM

So he really wasn’t suspended now was he dumbass?

Suspensions count when they keep you on the sideline…in street clothes. That little NCAA formality was forgotten about as soon as it happened, but you can go on claiming intellectual superiority over that if you like, I’m sure you need something to make you feel better for being a pickle yodeling goat defiler. LOL

  20. taintedlombardis says: Nov 3, 2012 8:38 PM

Your response is the equivalent of “I know what you are, but what am I”. Just shut your mouth and spare yourself further embarrassment. Hick.

  21. houndofthebaskervols says: Nov 3, 2012 8:46 PM

And your response is the exact equivalent of “Derrrrr, I know what you are, but what am I derrrruhhhherrrrrr.” LMTO {thats laughing my taint off} haw haw haw

  22. taintedlombardis says: Nov 3, 2012 8:56 PM

Hick is as hick does. Nevermind the article that clearly says Newton was suspended, then it was revoked. It’s coming…vacated championships. Can’t wait! Took 5 years to finally get USC and Reggie Bush.

    ————

Eh, I will give you the Cam Newton thing-will never happen, but I agree that was a bit of a sham.

Saban though-not so much. I can think of perhaps one or two schools tops which would not gladly toss their head coach and his entire staff within five minutes of Saban picking up the phone and telling them he would like to coach there (at a reasonable salary though). You might also want to investigate how many coaches come from the Saban “coaching tree” and apply his “system” although not with the same results.

  24. houndofthebaskervols says: Nov 3, 2012 9:16 PM

Thats it, thats all you got? “Hick is as hick does???” Thanks for the laughs taintedretardos, and good luck with the forthcoming sanctions against Auburn, how long you think we’ll have to wait for that? LOL

  25. taintedlombardis says: Nov 3, 2012 9:25 PM

What do I got? What do you have?lol

You just look dumb. You said what suspension, as if it never happened. Then I linked proof. Then you displayed the emotional intelligence of a twelve year old; however it is not your fault, it’s a symptom of social circumstance when your sister is also your cousin.

  26. houndofthebaskervols says: Nov 3, 2012 9:35 PM

Gamesmanship taintedtoiletos, an illusion. You think Auburn didn’t know the NCAA was going to close their file the following day? Only a moron refuses to see that whole thing was orchestrated.

Now repeat after me….Seven in a row. LOL

  27. imforbigblue says: Nov 3, 2012 9:35 PM

I like how the moron says the basketball team cheats they must beat your team like a red headed step child huh. Its ok not every school can haved a great football and basketball team

  28. taintedlombardis says: Nov 3, 2012 9:49 PM

What is this retard talking about? Great football and basketball team? Did you see the photo posted? Great football team? In what universe is Kentucky a great football team? Jesus Christ SEC fans are dumb as bricks.

Calipari will leave UK a wasteland like he did Memphis lol

  29. taintedlombardis says: Nov 3, 2012 9:54 PM

Orchestrated huh? So it was a farce then? Maybe the NCAA needs to be probed for possible RICO violations…wonder what effect the suspension, then subsequent revocation had on gambling so close to kickoff…

  30. houndofthebaskervols says: Nov 3, 2012 10:02 PM

RICO violations? Holey shit I cant stop laughing.

Well, its a sure bet there taint’ard that you are not a lawyer. Keep em coming, this is the best free entertainment I’ve had in a while. LMAO

  31. taintedlombardis says: Nov 3, 2012 10:15 PM

Do you even know what is covered under RICO? Don’t answer, we know…the NCAA is far from clean…plenty of scandals. I’m still waiting for something of substance to debate with you. So far you have been dragged. “Taint’ard”, boy you’re creative. Fifth graders everywhere are impressed by your razor sharp wit.

  32. houndofthebaskervols says: Nov 3, 2012 10:20 PM

I guess you heard about RICO on your last DUI charge down at County right?

Name all these NCAA “scandals” please, and please list all the NCAA officials that have been arrested on criminal charges if you don’t mind… I mean if its not too much trouble. ha ha

  33. taintedlombardis says: Nov 3, 2012 10:35 PM

    http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2011/writers/andy_staples/03/30/fiesta-bowl-junker/index.html

Just to get you started. First google result. Tons more. You will have to sort through all the team specific results. Unfortunately Molester U dominates all google searches…

If your reading comprehension was up to par, you would have also comprehended what I meant when I typed “should” be probed.

  34. houndofthebaskervols says: Nov 3, 2012 10:47 PM

I can see you are struggling with this taint’o, I’m trying to get to the specifics of how the NCAA would qualify for an investigation under the RICO statutes. Thank you very much for wasting our time.

    And BTW, I noticed thats the second time you’ve used the word “probed” on one of your posts… I think we all know what you would like to have probed ya toilet bowl licking retard. {grimace}

  35. taintedlombardis says: Nov 3, 2012 10:53 PM

Of course you are struggling. Here’s some help.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Racketeer_Influenced_and_Corrupt_Organizations_Act

It would be laughably easy to bring charges. Take your pick. Prevailing in a court of law is another issue altogether.

  36. houndofthebaskervols says: Nov 3, 2012 11:00 PM

    Who wrote this?

“Orchestrated huh? So it was a farce then? Maybe the NCAA needs to be probed for possible RICO violations…”

So in the same breath, you say you dont believe it, but then you say “it would be laughably easy to bring charges.” What a fucking moron. I mean which is it dumbass, take a friggin stand fer cryin out loud.

I repeat, you are an idiot that knows nothing about the law, and now you have singled yourself out as nothing but a troll, either that or you are just a complete retard that just picked the wrong fight.

  37. taintedlombardis says: Nov 3, 2012 11:10 PM

Does this idiot even understand the words that he types? WTF are you talking about? You can’t even track the conversation. You’re obviously rattled. Your posts are becoming more and more profane.

  38. taintedlombardis says: Nov 3, 2012 11:17 PM

I’ll clarify for you…if the suspension was a farce, a dog and pony show, there are a multitude of angles to look at. Your words not mine, an “orchestration” as you characterized it. You are off the deep end.

  39. houndofthebaskervols says: Nov 3, 2012 11:35 PM

“Rattled”….yes, I am rattled that you answered two of my posts with FIVE of your own. LOL

Tainted, if your brain cells were ever to bump into those of Brent Musburger’s, you two would create an entity with the mental potential of a drooling, spastic 6 year old. haw haw

  40. hovenaut says: Nov 4, 2012 1:56 AM

    Why so serious?

    Sorry, too soon?

Hey, Calipari’s in a good mood at least.

  41. imforbigblue says: Nov 4, 2012 8:37 AM

Thank you for proving my point that your a moron because if you go back and read it again I said not every team out there can have a good football team and basketball team meaning UK has a great basketball team and crappy football team you moron
