Getty ImagesThere was a mild controversy in Miami last month when it was announced that defensive end Kelvin Cain was no longer with the team. The question was whether Cain left on his own accord, or was dismissed. That question was never officially answered, but now it looks like a moot topic of discussion.
Per ‘Canes coach Al Golden, Cain has been reinstated to the team and was back practicing on the scout team Monday.
“It’s personal, but he has been reinstated,” Golden said. “He sorted some things out, so I’m happy for the young man. It’s good to see him back out here today.”
Although Cain is not a starter, he has recorded 11 tackles in seven games this season, adding to the 20 he had in 2011.

Like the U, he is BACK!
^ This guy just won’t stop. SMH
And then all Cane fans will be bunched in to saying “we’re back” when we’re far from it.
Yes Canetic your back and that’s about it!! Our fellow Miami Hurricanes are on there way back but have a few miles to go. But thanks for believing and Cheering for us. Goooo Canes!!!
How far have you fallen when 5-4 is “back?” It’s actually sad to see that UM has been reduced to nothing more than catch phrases. I guess you were back when competitive teams like ND and KS were blowing your doors off? There has YET to be a signature win yet Cane Tick is going with the silliness. Desperate. Maybe he should throw up a “Fear the Tie” or a “U Tough” along the way. Those “extra bench press reps” sure didn’t look too tough when K State was literally making a scrimmage out of []_[].
You’re 5-4 and on the eve of crippling sanctions. I’d say your back alright.
