Starting ‘Canes DB likely out vs. Hoos

As Miami continues on its inexorable march toward a postseason rematch with Florida State, the Hurricanes could take at least a one-game blow on the defensive side of the ball.

Tuesday, head coach Al Golden conceded that starting safety Deon Bush likely won’t be available for this weekend’s game against Virginia.  Bush has been dealing with a stinger issue that surfaced last week.

It’s going to be tough,’’ Golden said when asked about Bush playing this weekend. “We’re holding him out right now. If I was going to list him today, it would be doubtful.”

The freshman has played in all nine games this season.

Bush is going to be the next great Miami safety.

I don’t think I’ve seen a team occur so many injuries, especially with so many Freshmen makes it hard on a team and coach. Get well Bush we will need you for FSU rematch if we don’t self impose.
