Tide remains solid BcS title favorite

After surviving its first true test and real scare of the 2012 season, Alabama remains unbeaten and on track to become the first team to win back-to-back BcS titles.

It also remains the prohibitive favorite of one of the top gambling websites in the country.

In its updated set of odds, Bovada.com has the Crimson Tide as 2/3 favorites to capture the 2012 BcS championship. Back in September, Alabama was the favorite at 19/10 according to the same website after entering 2012 at 5/1, which put them behind USC (3-1).

Three of the six remaining unbeatens fall in line behind Alabama, headed by Oregon at 3/1. That’s up from 9/1 two months ago, which was up from 10/1 in the preseason. Kansas State, which was 100-1 in September, is next at 11/2, while Notre Dame is at 15/2.

The only other undefeated team eligible for the postseason, Louisville, comes in at 75-1 after beginning 2012 at 300/1.

Below is the complete set of current BcS title odds, again courtesy of Bovada.com:

Kansas State 11/2
