Poll: the No. 1 team in the country is...

Well, Week 11 certainly shook things up, didn’t it?

When the weekend began, there were six undefeated teams at the FBS level. When the dust had settled, there were just four.

No. 1 Alabama? Stunned by No. 15 Texas A&M in Johnny Football’s emphatic Heisman statement game. No. 11 Louisville? Rolled by an unranked Syracuse team that had lost five games this season by an average of just eight points, a fact that had the Cardinals on upset alert all week long.

Left standing? No. 2 Oregon, which survived a first-half scare against a really bad Cal squad that will very likely be in the market for a new head coach in short order; No. 3 Kansas State, which had very little problem on the road in its dispatching of TCU; No. 4 Notre Dame, which ho-hummed its way to a 15-point win over Boston College; and No. 5 Ohio State, which easily took care of business against Bye Week State University.

So, there you have it. Four teams with unblemished records with just three weeks -- minus the Army-Navy stand-alone weekend -- left in the 2012 regular season.

Given all that’s happened this weekend, we end up back in the place we always do at this point in the program: who ya got? With No. 1 going down, who should be the top-ranked team in the country heading into Week 12?

Vote below, and whine a little bit lower.
