You are the imbecil and bigot. Rather than waste your urine on 785 plus volunteers, read the article idiot, you need to go by a county health units and give them a sample. You are either on meth or crack or need some lithium. The urine test will help. While there, donate some blood so they can test that as well. You are not well, and need medical care.

The team I was with and myself were among the 785 volunteers in this particular effort. Volunteers are assisting with other efforts others almost identical. Volunteers are always welcome and needed. Contact your local health clinic to volunteer.

I will be traveling to Appalachia to help again with doctors and dentists this Christmas season. Volunteers from Louisiana, Alabama, Tennessee, Ohio, Kentucky, Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and other states will be on hand to assist. We will be stopping in Auburn, AL, Atlanta, Knoxville, and other cities to pick up supplies and volunteers.

Thomas has been building over the years a relationship with Christ. It’s really gotten strong in the last couple of months. So, I know God is in this. And if he’s in it, it’s going to be OK. But that doesn’t stop me from crying, and it doesn’t stop me from wondering, and it doesn’t help me sleep.”

Texas A&M Coach Kevin Sumerlin:

“All of us are obviously very concerned about the safety and well-being of Thomas Johnson, who has been missing since Monday evening,” Sumlin said in the statement. “Authorities are working closely with his family, friends and law enforcement agencies to help locate him. Thomas is a tremendous student-athlete, greatly admired by his fellow teammates and all of us on the coaching staff. If anyone has any current information about him or knows of his whereabouts, please contact his family or law enforcement authorities immediately. We pray for his quick and safe return.”

Texas A&M Coach Kevin Sumerlin (on the recovery of Thomas Johnson):

“We are pleased and relieved to find T.J.,” Aggies coach Kevin Sumlin said in a statement. “Our foremost concern is for the health and well-being of T.J. I would like to thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers and efforts in locating him.”

Good news, very good news.

“COLLEGE STATION, Texas (AP) — Texas A&M freshman wide receiver Thomas Johnson has been found safe in Dallas after being missing from campus since Monday.

His mother, Linda Hanks, says A&M University police called her early Thursday to say the 18-year-old has been found unharmed.”

No further info yet, but we will keep checking.

I haven’t heard any report over our local news yet which did report on the original story and the great effort of the A&M football team, staff, and fans, as well as law enforcement to try to locate Thomas. Later today some news people are coming to report on the continuing efforts to bring restoration and renovation after Isaac, and I will ask them if they had heard anything.

Thanks to “deeboy”s for his posting. We’ll try to find additonal info which may give some explanation. JT & Ben may learn that before we will and I am sure they will post it.

I good friend of mine used to send all of his military paychecks home. When he got out of the service, his goal was to buy himself a nice motorcycle. He did. One day his mom asked to pick up a couple of items at the grocery store, so he jumped on his motorcycle and went to get them. On the way he met some of his friends and went with them, right then and there, to California for over a week (he lived in Chicago). This was back in pre-cell phone days. When he returned, just as a joke, he stopped at the grocery store and got what his mom had asked for. He walked in the house and put the bag on the table. Without looking up, his mom simply said, “long line, huh?”

We can only hope there’s some kind of funny explanation to Johnson’s having been missing. Again, not trying to make light of it, just glad he’s safe as “deeboy” reports. I’m sure his family, coaches and teammates are relieved beyond words.

We are praying, following the lead of his coach, Coach Kevin Sumlin. If I was anywhere close, I would join the search. If they need any help from about 500 miles away, I will be glad to provide it.

Why don’t you respect what Coach Sumlin said he was doing and respect the missing young man and those who have posted this sentiment.

You can be an atheist or other such without being obnoxious and offensive. I am sure they would welcome your help there as we will welcome your help to provide dental care and medical care for the rural folks in VA and WVA this Christmas.

Lord, protect Thomas whereever he is and bring him safely back. May it be something simple and innocent such as the good posters have stated on this blog.
