The good coach put his East Bay mansion on the market before the season started.
He knew what was in store.
The Aaron Rodgers recruiting story will always fascinate me. Tedford takes a trip to Butte College and ends up with Rodgers and his starting tight end for like the next two years.
He hasn't come close to that kind of success in recruiting since, at QB anyway.
Was Tedford just lucky or was the lightly recruited Rodgers a once in a lifetime prospect everyone else missed on?

Jeff Tedford was my QB at Fresno State and the reality is that he needs the new $66M facility to recruit just like Oregon put a substantial facility in place. He was instrumental in helping the money be raised for that speecific purpose so now you want to yank him PRIOR to the new center being put in place ??? PLEASE, makes no sense. My first two years of college ball were at USC and i attend Trojan Fooball Alumni meetings regularly, the bottom line is that even USC put their new facitlity in place to compete for what were normally their kids that now sign with Oregon. Kids want the nice facliities and without that you don't get the 5 star recruits. Let the man finish what he resurrected !!!

Great coach? If he had all that NFL talent why didn't he win more? Cal has been better since he took over but they are a mediocre program now.

Why the thumbs down Cal fans? Truth hurts? Fact: Tedford is 2-12 vs. Oregon, Stanford, and Washington since Chip Kelly, Harbaugh/Shaw, Sarkisian took over those teams.

I think it pretty obvious why Tedfords not winning like he used to. Oregon, Washington, and Stanford. Chip Kelly, Steve Sarkisian, and Jim Harbaugh/David Shaw all started having regular success.

Cal just needs everyone else to suck again lol.

Tedford will be unemployed for a whole 2 minutes. He's a great coach that has put some really great players in the NFL, Aaron Rodgers, Desean Jackson, Marshawn Lynch, as well as quite a few others.

He can recruit and he can definitely coach. Texas Tech maybe? Every indication is that Tuberville is going back to the SEC at Arkansas.
