Getty ImagesA concussion suffered a couple of games ago against UCLA sidelined Arizona quarterback Matt Scott last weekend against Colorado. It appears, however, the senior will only miss one game due to his head injury.
Arizona’s Thursday injury report lists Scott as probable to start this Saturday against Utah. If Scott is somehow unable to play, backup B.J. Denker will start. Denker completed 12 of 14 passes in last weekend’s win over the Buffs.
Scott’s had concussion issues a couple of times this season, most notably against USC. But he’s been named a captain for Saturday’s game, so take that for what it’s worth when it comes to his playing status.
