Utah QB Jordan Wynn joining Hawaii’s coaching staff

Utah Utah St Football AP

Jordan Wynn‘s college career came to an unfortunate end two months ago because of a shoulder injury, but the Utah quarterback’s involvement with football isn’t over. In fact, a new phase of Wynn’s career is just beginning thanks to a former coach.

Hawaii coach Norm Chow confirmed to the Salt Lake Tribune that Wynn will become the team’s quarterbacks coach this upcoming January. Chow spent last season as Utah’s offensive coordinator before taking the head coaching job with the Warriors.

“It sounds like he has a good opportunity and I wish him well in that,” Utes coach Kyle Whittingham said of Wynn’s departure.

Wynn’s had an oft-injured career, but has been working with Utah’s younger quarterbacks this season after his injury.

Good luck to him ! One of the lucky few to leave college having a job these days.

Great opportunity for the guy! He gets to skip the grad assistant/scout step and go straight to being a position coach. Might be the youngest in the country. Glad to see him continue with football
