Getty ImagesYou know how Lane Kiffin feels about disclosing injury news. He hates it because he makes a weird face and awkwardly walks out of press conferences like he’s had some bad Mexican food.
(Don’t worry, the link is totally SFW; it’s just Kiffin walking out of a press conference. I think. I didn’t double check.)
So when asked about Silas Redd‘s availability for this Saturday’s game against UCLA, which will decide the Pac-12 South division, Kiffin was once again mum
“Hope so,” Kiffin said.
Redd did not play in last weekend’s win over Arizona State due to an undisclosed injury. Instead, Curtis McNeal went bananas with 31 carries for 163 yards and three scores — far and away his best game of the season and arguably of his career with the Trojans.
Even if Redd is healthy enough to play, expect McNeal to get the start against the Bruins.

I think only Colin Cowherd likes this guy.
That’s negative, I also like this guy. He’s done nothing wrong, and he plays his ass off.
It will most likely be a business decision.
Silas done got sold snake oil by the shadiest salesman of em all, Lane “the walking NCAA violation” Kiffin!! “Hey Silas don’t you wanna leave Penn St and come to LA and be the star and carry the ball 20-30 times a game and win nat’l championship and maybe even a Heisman?” “You’re the missing piece we been looking for.” Hahahaha, this whole Silas Redd transfer thing is HILARIOUS!! How’s the snake oil working Silas? Maybe next year, you can transfer to West Virginia and play for the 2nd shadiest coach in NCAAF??? Worth a shot, you’re guaranteed stardom there!! Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!
You cannot blame him for taking the chance to join a team that can actually compete for a National Championship, but USC at 7-3 have games left with UCLA and ND, while Penn St. at 6-4 have games against Indiana and Wisconson.
I like them both finishing at 8-4. It was worth the chance he took and he did leave the Lions with class.
nope he is a sell out and should have stayed at PSU he took the money he is a quitter when things get tough and i doubt the NFL will fine a need for him
