Will Silas Redd play against UCLA? ‘Hope so’ says Kiffin

You know how Lane Kiffin feels about disclosing injury news. He hates it because he makes a weird face and awkwardly walks out of press conferences like he’s had some bad Mexican food.

(Don’t worry, the link is totally SFW; it’s just Kiffin walking out of a press conference. I think. I didn’t double check.)

So when asked about Silas Redd’s availability for this Saturday’s game against UCLA, which will decide the Pac-12 South division, Kiffin was once again mum

Hope so,” Kiffin said.

Redd did not play in last weekend’s win over Arizona State due to an undisclosed injury. Instead, Curtis McNeal went bananas with 31 carries for 163 yards and three scores -- far and away his best game of the season and arguably of his career with the Trojans.

Even if Redd is healthy enough to play, expect McNeal to get the start against the Bruins.
