APThanks to a Boston College transfer, Temple had one of its best offensive performances ever — and with just four passing attempts.
In a 63-32 win over Army, Owls running back Montel Harris rushed for a school record 351 yards and seven touchdowns. Harris carried the ball 36 times and averaged nearly 10 yards (9.8 specifically) per carry. His previous season-high this year was 142 yards against UConn.
For the record (so to speak), the NCAA single-game rushing record is 406 yards set by Ladanian Tomlinson at TCU in 1999.
The win puts Temple at 4-6, but the Owls will only play 11 games this season because of the move to the Big East. Temple ends the season against Syracuse.
