Florida (Bowling Green 27-14, Louisiana Lafayette 27-20, Jacksonville St 23-0, a team that is 6-5 in FCS, and they score 23 points?! Does this look like the #4 BCS Team in the Country?!

People keep saying that they play someone difficult everyone each week in the SEC. Guess what, they haven’t shown anyone how good they are compared to other major conferences. So how do you know that South Carolina is a good team in College Football? In fact, a Big 12 team last year with a freshman QB has come in and taken down their top team in Bama at their place and sits at 9-2, a year after going 6-6 in the Big 12!!!

The SEC teams have only lost to each other because they haven’t played anyone that any major conference team should lose to. Play someone worthwhile out of conference once in a while, like Oklahoma did with Notre Dame, or Texas and Ohio St, USC, Miami (Fl) have over the past few years. Or at the very least, schedule some BCS conference teams. Or would a few losses actually expose the SEC that they don’t in fact have 5 of the top 10 teams in the nation? Prove it on the field.

hmm…your whole argument simply breaks down at this point. Name one SEC school who has scheduled more than one FCS school? I didn’t check them all, but LSU, ‘bama, Georgia, and Florida only scheduled 1 per. The other non-conf are typically with 2 FBS from non-auto qualifying conf (WAC/Sun Belt) and 1 FBS from an auto-qualifying conf (PAC 12/Big 10/ACC).

The SEC has nothing to prove by adding their SOS. Additionally, most other FBS schools don’t want to add the SEC to their schedules.

Try these shoes on for size:

1) Bama wins vs Auburn but loses vs Georgia
2) Georgia loses vs GT but beats Bama.
3) Florida beats FSU
4) ND loses vs USC.
5) UCLA wins the PAC12 CC
6) Oregon loses to Oregon St.
7) K-state loses to Texas

That just shows how much you know about college FB. Those refs at Stanford were from Stanford’s conference so I’m sure they had it out for them and not ND. Did you even see the game?

Now let me see who did OSU beat this year? Oh yeah, everyone in the Little 10, oh sorry, I meant the Big 10 or is it 12? Can’t remember.

You think there is a reason the, undefeated, buckeyes are only rated #4 in the AP poll?

Too bad the OSU program is being punished (again). I would have loved to see ND shut down OSU.

Ohio State is #1 !!!

Its nice seeing a relevant ND again, its always good for college football to have a relevant ND, because of the potential match ups that can happen.

If it comes down to Alabama/Georgia against ND, of course the SEC will have the media saying they will win, but remember this, the media had Kansas St. defeating Baylor this past weekend, and had Oregon beating Stanford as well, and that did not happen. They also had Alabama defeating Texas A&M the weekend before. Anything can happen in college football every week

Say what you want about them. Complain all you want about them barely squeaking out wins at home against Pitt, Michigan, BYU & Purdue. The bottom line is that they did something that “the best offense in college football history” couldn’t do: they beat Stanford at home. Notre Dame went into Norman, Oklahoma & completely dominated a top 10 Oklahoma team. Also, Notre Dame hasn’t scheduled cupcake games late in the season like the vaunted SEC elite have (Alabama v. Western Carolina; South Carolina v. Wafford; Georgia v. Georgia Southern; Florida v. Jacksonville State). Notre Dame has played every week against a BCS-eligible team, whereas the SEC teams have scheduled at least 2 FCS games, some teams scheduling 3. When you play a FBS, BCS-eligible team every week, regardless of their rank & record, you are playing against some of the most talented players in the nation. While the SEC elite played JV squads, Notre Dame played another BCS conference team, Wake Forest, and dominated them. Notre Dame has won every game they played this year, something else the SEC elite haven’t been able to do. Notre Dame is head & shoulders better than the next best team in the nation & once they take care of USC in LA, with or without Matt Barkley, they will affirm their dominance. The fact some coaches gave Bama & Georgia first-place votes is a joke & more evidence why coaches shouldn’t have a vote. I can’t wait until the BCS Championship Game; I promise you that Notre Dame will beat any SEC team they match up against them & they’ll beat them handily. HERE COMES THE IRISH!!!

Oregon likely won’t even win the Pac-12 North. Sorry, but if you can’t even play in your conference title game, you shouldn’t be anywhere near the championship game.
