You people criticizing Driskell do not know much about X’s and O’s. Jeff has thrown the ball very well this year. He had one bad game, against UGA; however, must of his issues, in that game, were caused be the OL and poor blocking by the RB’s. he pretty much mastered Pease’s offense and multiple formations. He has had a bunch of dropped balls, causing the coaching staff to go with the running game. Jeff will be special and it continues Saturday, in croaky doaky stadium. UF’s defense is extremely up for this game and eager to show who has the #1 defense in the State of Florida!

Well kozbee you never expanded on your playoff comment. I believe you know very little about football based on your comments. This weekend will show the bcs that the sec is overrated. What team do you root for? Not the gators I see. Fsu can compete with any team in sec. Everyone knows the acc is a weak conference and gets no bcs love.

What playoffs are you talking about? and your thoughts are way off base on driskel he is a tool. Noles win this game because of driskel and that it’s in tally of course. Of course my opinion is heavily biased.

I think that Driskel has gotten progressively better throughout the season. He lost a little more recently–probably due to less protection from the offense. Any QB will struggle if the defense is constantly in his face. That will be key for FSU, to keep him off balance.

If Driskel can keep his head together and make sound quick decisions. He should be able to offset some of our O-line woes. Being hobbled might even work out in his favor. He’ll be forced to maintain a pocket presence rather than roll out and make low percentage throws.

The Gator defense will keep the game close. Driskel can be successful with a little patience–there will be a lot of punts.

Non-believers look a year ago where the Gators were ranked,i hope most on here do research before they post.Here in 2012 the Gators are ranked fourth in the BCS and very well can make the playoffs and it surely was Driskel that has them at 10-1 for this week.Most start comparing him to other QBs in which imo he just may be that good come 2013.Florida has come a long way out of the hole they were in the last couple years and have now just maybe a shot at a BCS championship.Driskel is alot better QB then last season when he had to play backup,like i said next season will be a very good season for the Gators as long as he stays healthy.And by the way im a SEC fan but my team isn`t Florida,just like to post in what i believe in a better then average QB.

Last time I checked when you’re running the football down people’s throats like we have this season your “offf line” is where it starts. Remember the 4th quarter of the LSU game? Jeff Dillman is coach of the year as far as I am concerned and Muschamp should get HUGE kudos for hiring the guy.

I agree with you on the receiver problem but don’t blame the o’line for that. Muschamp has been using this season to make a statement…..we will no longer be the “fun and gun” team of old. Its power football with balls to the wall, no exceptions. I suspect next year will be more of the same except on a totally different level.

first off your qb is only as good as you offf line, and no matter who is sitting back there if they dont have time to drop back and read the defense before having someone on top of you, nobody will look good back there, on top of that if the recievers cant get open and catch the football that also makes the qb look bad!!!!

Kozbee that doesn’t mean driskel is all that great. He isn’t the greatest out there, however his plus sides are that he’s not the head case or Tyler Bray, he can run fast, he won’t turn it over like Murray, he can run fast, and he keeps his emotions in check, and he can run fast. That being said, I think he will look the same in the FSU game, he won’t have many runs but will pass 12-17 for 115 yards or so, maybe a TD and no INTS. Watch him play without bias he is no start, he could develop into one, but he isn’t right now. That being said, Peyton manning would look inept behind the Gators wounded Oline

I think Florida Gator fans are relizing just what they have as a QB with Driskel being the starter this season.IMO Driskel will be one of the best in 2013 in which many have told me he wouldnt make it through the season on another blog i write on,wrong.I hope the kid better seasons to come and see Florida once more being a stalker for the #1 rankings in the near future.Goodluck Driskel you proved most everyone wrong and you will be just that good.
