Muschamp now says Jeff Driskel will start against FSU

Florida coach Will Muschamp said earlier this week that starting quarterback Jeff Driskel will play this weekend against Florida State, though just how much was yet to be determined.

After two days of practice, Muschamp has decided Driskel is good enough to start. Muschamp said Wednesday that Driskel “looked very good in practice” Tuesday and will be “ready to go” Saturday against the Seminoles. Driskel suffered a sprained ankle in a win over Louisiana-Lafayette. Backup Jacoby Brissett started last Saturday against Jacksonville State, throwing for 154 yards.

On the season, Driskel has thrown for 1,324 yards, 10 touchdowns and three interceptions.
